Live Performance by Celebrity Nathalie Matthews opening the festivities for The 76th Annual "Hollywood Santa Parade".


 

The stage will be located on Vine street at Sunset blvd. "After an absolutely spectacular performance that Nathalie did at my B-day party last month I am very excited to have her as the featured artist on my stage at this years Hollywood Parade"

The show starts at 4pm. Get there early to find parking. Although the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce gave up on the parade,
 the Los Angeles City Council voted to sponsor the holiday event.

The name has been changed to the "Hollywood Santa Parade" ( sort of a throwback to the early days when it was the "Santa Claus Lane Parade" ) because the Hollywood CoC owns the "Hollywood Christmas Parade" name.
 The Christmas parade will take place on Nov. 25, 2007, the Sunday after Thanksgiving.

The Grand Marshal for the 2007 parade will be Bob Barker ( "The Price is Right" ), and other celebs on hand will include the cast from the popular "High School Musical". The parade route will be the same as before. The parade will receive live broadcast TV coverage this year in Chicago along with other media. If you have cable, you can find it on CityView Channel 35, and later, KTLA ( Channel 5 ) will broadcast the parade at noon on Dec. 16.

THE GRAND OPENING OF LA’TIK WOMEN’S FASHION BOUTIQUE IN SANTA MONICA, CA

Recently October 27, former NFL All-Pro Jacksonville Jaguar’s defensive end, Marcellus Wiley, and his sister, Tiki Harrell, held the grand opening of their fashion boutique, La’Tik, in Santa Monica, CA. The event provided not only an opportunity for celebrities and tastemakers to enjoy a new shopping experience, but also for Marcellus to help his sister manifest her fashion dreams. Attendees of note included Laila Ali and her husband former NFL star, Curtis Conway, of the Chicago Bears, Kel Mitchell (One on One), Sal and Day Day (BET’s Baldwin Hills), Pop Songtress Nathalie Matthews, Michael Ralph (The Bernie Mac Show), Eric Payne (Desperate Housewives and Boston Legal) and Phoenix Gonzalez (Tuxedo and Undercover Brother).

While they sipped "La’Tik Martinis" donated by Mickey Gordon of Carnivo XOXO Unlimited and browsed through La’Tik’s stylish inventory, all present grooved to great music from the DJ in the VIP loft. While most people arrived at the event expecting to simply peruse the racks, many were seduced by the luxe designer handbags, apparel and accessories, so few left empty-handed. Instead, they departed with shopping bags full of fashionable treats in their hands, smiles on their faces and intentions of returning. The event’s success confirmed the store’s motto: “You may like to shop, but you will love La’Tik.”

With fashion-forward offerings and a high level of customer service, La’Tik is poised to be a major player on Santa Monica’s style scene, and the launch of the E-commerce site will bring Tiki’s taste to shoppers everywhere.

Jon Rue(the founder of Hollywood Cure for Pain) attended this exclusive invite only event with honorary board member Fawn, and spokes person Marcus Foy(from MTV's new hit Tila Tequila reality TV show A Shot of Love with Tila Tequila). Marcus Foy(reality TV star, model, actor and celebrity rapper) has also starred in 20 episodes of the Janice Dickinson Modeling reality TV series, Survival of the Richest and other films. Jon Rue was James Bartholet's special guest and was given superb treatment by the staff at the function.

The red carpet soiree was a birthday celebration for entertainment industry icon(and Hollywood insider) James Bartholet. Considered among some circles to be one of the most connected men in Hollywood, James has an extensive history in the entertainment business.
